A Time When There Was Nothing

What if there was a time when there was nothing, a time of perfect darkness?

Can you even imagine such a time?

Let us start from the present. Think about what you are doing right now. or something that you love and enjoy doing, and let's reverse engineer as far back as we can. We will come to a point in time in history when those things did not exist.

Then apply the same process to everything.

There was a time when there were no people on the face of the earth. and when there were no people, there will be no family. there were no moms and dads, no brothers and sister, no uncles and aunties nephews and nieces. No weddings and celebrations

There were no schools to attend, because there were no students and no teachers or substitute teachers. There was no Department of Education, no Boards of Education. There would have been no such thing as school budgets, school shootings and all various crisis in school, drugs, truancy, teacher shortages etc.

What about businesses? There was a time when there were no businesses on earth because there was no need for any business. There was no need to buy and sell anything because there was no need to create anything for people who did not exist. There was no struggling to get clients. There were no CEOs, presidents, budgets, vision, and mission statements. There was no strategic planning. There were no accountants, CPA, audit, coaches, and consultants. There was perfect silence.

What about religion? Today we have the major religions Christianity, Jewish and Islamic and different versions of those of those religions. But there was a time where there were no people to minister to, no need for sacrificed, no need for prayer, fasting, lent, no sins to confess, no priest, no pastor, reverend, rabbi, and Imams. Because there was no religion, no Christians, no Jews, no Muslim, no Atheists, no crusades., no crusades or holy wars. There was nothing.

How about government? Government is said to be of the people, by the people and for the people. But when were no people on earth, there was no need for governing or government. Can you imagine such a world?  There would have been no philosophies or ideologies of governing such as capitalism, communism and everything in between. There was nothing. No president, commander in chief of nation, no legislators, no supreme court, no police department, no Army, Navy Airforce, Marines, CIA, FBI and other intelligence agencies all over the world, No high defense, education, or social budgets.

What about politics? When there were no people on earth and there were no schools, no teachers no education, no businesses, and no religion, there was no need for politics and politicians. Because politics is the promise to make the world a better place. And when there were no politics, there were no elections or rigged or big steal for that matter.

What about the economy of life? There was no poverty, deficit, sicknesses, disease, illnesses, mental health, and there no need for doctors, nurse, dentist, chiropractors. No air pollution, no oil spills no pandemic, and no COVID 19

No inflation, no recession, and no federal reserve chairman that wields so much power. there was no need for Wall Street, no need for the chairman of the Federal Reserve, no threat inflation, depression, untamable interest rate.

And mass media? No news organization, no CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX New, Aljazeera, and the slew of other news organization that has managed to promote their different ideologies, causing instability in the world.   

How about sports and entertainment everything that we adore and sometimes idolize about entertainers, musicians and athletes, the LeBron James Michael Jordans, Larry Birds, Wayne Gretzkys, Messi, Usain Bolts, Simon Biles and so on and so forth. There did not exit at that time.

What about organizations that's have been classified as terrorists? There were none of them because there were no aggrieved persons who are standing up for their rights and challenging the status quo. There was no Black Panthers, no Black lives matter, no Proud Boys, no Ku Klux Klan, there was no racism there was no slavery.

If you have a favorite restaurant, there was a time it was not. No Chinese food, no Caribbean, food no Italian food, no African, food no Mediterranean Cuisines no Egyptian, no Jamaican, no parties, no oxtails which are the thing that I really love. There was none of them.

In conclusion there was a time in the history of this world that there was perfect nothingness. You and I did not exist, period.

So,, since there was a time when nothing was, why do we suppose that we are here in this world. And the second question is how you suppose we got here.

Think about the common denominator, in the above mentions.

If we can answer those two questions with humility and sincerity, we will begin to get to the root of the problems that we have in the world today.

The common denominator surrounds the nonexistence of human beings.

And as to how got here, evolution cannot answer it neither can science or any other human philosophy.

The answer is that in the beginning, God created the heavens, the earth all things inside of it for the sole purpose of expressing the Beauty of His Glory and for us to experience and continue to express that glory here on earth and lay foundation of legacy for the coming generation.

God created all things to express the beauty of his glory, and each of those things that God created have their unique beauty in how they express the beauty of the glory of God.

In other words, all beauties are not the same.

There is the beauty of the ocean, the sky, the moon and the stars, and the animals. They are all different expressions of the beauty of the glory of God.

But the one beauty that tops all of them is the one a little lower than the angels - The Beauty of Humans who are made in the image of God.

The problems of the world today no matter where they are, whether in the family, in business, in education, in government or in religion, are problems that come from how sure we are of our identity, how did we get here, why we are here, how we view each other and the beauty of what makes us unique and different at the same time, different such as the color of skin, culture, financial status, physical enablement, gender etc.

it is time that we and the leaders who lead in all these areas in the family in education and business in religion and in government to go back to the beginning and start adjusting the policies to put God and people at the center, to love and honor God and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

There is no philosophy, ideology or even theology that is so sophisticated that cannot live by it.
